Our firm philosophy is shaped by three elements that are integral to each project:
CLIENT: We listen closely to our clients as collaborators, drawing on their aspirations for creative solutions and artistic vision. We provide leadership on behalf of our clients to assemble a professional team of designers, engineers and builders. We help manage the project process, be it a small renovation, new construction or full site development.
CONTEXT: Respect for the site and context provides a core in shaping our projects. Our sensitivity working in many climates has developed an architectural style that is responsive to its environment and traditions yet diverse in aesthetic. In our work there is an effort to employ environmentally sustainable practices with an integrated green approach. Our emphasis on practical solutions tends to yield simple, clean designs using traditional materials and local methods in innovative and contemporary ways. VALUE: We believe that thoughtful, creative design solutions provide value and enrich the life experience of our clients. We strive to create economic and personal value in all of our projects – large and small – in our role as designer and client advocate. |
